Michael has been a Mortgage Professional since 1997. He began his career as a Mortgage Loan Officer at a community bank in Metro Atlanta and within his first year was promoted to Division Manager. In 1999 he was recruited by ABN AMRO, a wholesale mortgage lender, to join their sales team as an Account Executive. Michael was a consistent top producer funding over one billion dollars in mortgage transactions. In April 2008 Michael decided to leave the wholesale channel and join Canton Street Mortgage as a Mortgage Consultant.
The experiences and training he received as an Account Executive provided Michael with a thorough understanding of the Mortgage process. He has been trained by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Mortgage Insurance providers, Secondary Marketing, HUD, and much more giving him a thorough understanding of the mortgage industry.
Michael has been a trainer for Loan Officers and mortgage companies throughout the state of Georgia. He has been a regular speaker/trainer for the Georgia Association of Mortgage Brokers as well as the South Eastern Mortgage Convention. Michael is a member of the National Bureau of Speakers for the American Heart Association and participates in the Peer to Peer Stroke survivor visitation program, having survived a stroke himself in 2007.
Michael is a Georgia native and he lives with his Wife and daughters in the Lost Mountain area of west Cobb County.
